Sump Pump Services
If your home sits on land prone to flooding, a sump pump will make sure your basement stays dry. Sump pumps generally direct excess water to municipal storm drains.
Sump Pumps:
There are two kinds: pedestal and submersible pumps. Pedestal pumps require good airflow and are not suited for small basements. Submersible pumps are water-proof units that operate quietly within the sump pit.
If your home isn’t outfitted with a Briggs & Stratton or other residential generator, consider stocking a back-up battery for your sump pump. Storms can take out the power and leave your basement susceptible to flooding.
If your sump pump has seen a lot of use, call Jennings to have it inspected and cleaned.
