Fall — a time that brings with it apple cider, visits to pumpkin patches, bonfires and anticipation of the holidays ahead. For any sports fans the season is full of promise; the Indians made the playoffs, after a rocky start the Browns have won two games in a row and the Buckeyes have the longest undefeated streak of any major college football team. Life is good.
In the midst of these activities, it’s important to prepare the equipment in your home for cooler weather before the leaves change, a maintenance measure that will ensure you’re nice and warm as the temperature continues to drop. Many of our customers get ready for fall with a furnace or boiler tune-up. It’s also important to remember to change your furnace filter before the heating season begins. Each year around this time your humidifier should have a new pad installed as well to prevent mineral buildup that can make it inoperable. If the “Farmer’s Almanac” prediction is accurate, we may be facing a very cold winter. Prepare now so that you can comfortably enjoy all that the season brings
